Our heating system and air conditioner maintenance tune-ups include:
INSIDE THE HOME
- Check thermostat and system operation
- Level and calibrate thermostat (if needed)
- Check filters
- Inspect float safety switch
- Check all duct connections for air leakage
- Inspect the drain line and condensate line
- Monitor fan motor
- Inspect fan motor for operating temperature
- Check airflow and adjust blower speed as needed
- Inspect electrical heater for proper operation
- Inspect all wiring and connection
- Inspect and test all system transformers, relays, contactors, and controls
- Inspect the indoor coil
OUTSIDE THE HOME
- Open outdoor unit and remove all debris
- Adjust or secure any wiring or tubing to prevent damage from vibration
- Check condensate drain line
- Inspect fan motor
- Check all electrical connections
- Inspect contact (points) for wear and tear
- Check all circuit boards for burn marks or corrosion
- Monitor all motor running amps
- Check all voltages
- Monitor compressor starting amps
- Monitor fan motor and compressor for operating temperatures
- Check system operation in both heating and cooling
- Inspect condenser pad
- Check all refrigerant components for possible leaks and all pipe insulation at outdoor units
- Inspect and adjust refrigerant profile
